So, who else is hunting with their NR black rifles?

I've been out for coyote and deer with my XCR. I've got a Blue Force sling and I find it's awesome for hunting, keeps the rifle nice and high so you don't trip on it and keeps it on your chest at the ready for quick access if you jump something. The black rifle thing looks a little hard core but it works for me ... plus it makes me feel better about spending 2000$ on a black rifle.

I am going out with my XCR this year. in both .223 and 6.8 (for when I don't want to save pelts) Put a levang linear on the .223 and a pws triad on the 6.8 to try and limit concussion back towards me.
Still trying to work out optics, have an eotech with aimpoint magnifier, going to try it out a few times but I think rather have a 1-4.

+1 for the blue force sling. I love 'em.

Lotsa use out of this pic, last minute mulie as we had to cut hunt short. buddies truck died "way out there" so a bit of a rush , not the one we were after but good enough for now. 6.8/100 AB/ACC 2200/ SSA brass.

Althought I haven't been hunting in years I don't actually own any traditional hunting rifles....unless you count a couple of my unmodified Valmet Hunters.

Sorry keeping my ACR nice and safe for the zombie apocalypse. I'll be so pissed if it doesn't happen within the next couple of years.
Like honestly whats the point of all this black rifle and target practise for then!!

we need a thread full of pictures of black and red rifles shown in a hunting context. it would be nice to show hunting pictures with black and red rifles to help antis understand that black and red rifles are no different then a bolt action hunting rifle.

I'm using an M14 with iron sights this year. Fear of making a lousy shot through some brush in low light with the irons cost me a big Doe on Monday. Wish I could use my AR15 with TA31F. Last year I had a Tavor with the Trijicon TA31F, worked great, but it's an expensive rifle to have sitting around 51 weeks of the year.

Using my M-14S as well for deer, though no luck yet. Usually use my Mini-14 or AR-180B for small game the rest of the year.
