Picture of the day

Lovely composition.

Man, what I wouldn't give for a Model 38 in primo condition. They're said to be very good rifles, and can shoot with accuracy on par with the Swede.

Both 6.5mm cartridges. Coincidence?

6.5 dia bullets are in the ideal for having good bc and they are usually longer witch makes them more stable. air resistance is low while still having a relatively light bullet and light recoil to get desired velocity. A 30 cal bullet with equal bc would need to be 200+ gr and need more powder so more recoil like .300 rum

Good day fellow Nutz :) New day new picture :)

British Commandos from Sword Beach linking up with the 6th Airborne at Pegasus Bridge. The paratroopers have the better quality Sten Mk.V SMG. The commando in the foreground looks to be carrying a M1911A1 or possibly an Inglis Hi-Power?
