First 50 rounds at the range today.. beside shooting too high and a little bit to the left, i noticed a few time where after loading, the round did not aligned correctly and i had to open and close the lever a second time for the round to get in the barrel.

Beside that it was great fun until i finish the first box of 50 rounds of 44 magnum. Exactly after the 50th round, the lever refused to close .. then this 2 pieces comes out and fall on the floor..

What do you think happen ? Gunsmith, refund ? did i get a lemon or ...

It was bought from SFRC .. a sponsor here.. not to trash them but as information on how they could deal with situation like this.. refunds or whatever..

If you have any input, you are more than welcome to post here.

Thank you

hard to say, my guess would be just a random faulty or 'friday built' part.

Based on all the past posts, the Rossi 92 build is pretty reliable, not many complaints. SFRC is pretty decent, give them a call.

thank you for the schematic.. at least i know what the hell is wrong..

Also received an email from SFRC that send me to some place called Freedom Ventures for warranty issues. I was just thinking i would have to send it back to SFRC..

I know its not a 10/22 (easily moddable) but do you think an average Joe can fix this kind of problem ? (no answer yet from Freedom Ventures) Trying to anticipate having to ship the rifle back or ordering the ejector..

Wait to here back from Freedom Ventures, they will help you out. They are the importer.

Ryan.

if anybody cares, just want to add that my Ranch Hand as been taking care of.. its on its way to Freedom Ventures.. received a message that they stand behind their product..

.. while waiting, that is a great time to find the best kit to reload 44 magnum.
