Went in today after work because my wife has a new baby on the way.Yup, She bought a M1 Carbine.Went through the doors of the North Edmonton WS Sports straight to the brass bins.Score!!!!! 2 bags of Winchester brass,I'm feeling good cause I had phoned P&D and they had none in stock. To the mold section and hunted throughout the whole disorganized mess, found a .311 100gr mould, not what I wanted but close enough.Off to the dies ,Lyman,Rcbs,Lee?Not a chance.Oh well I said, off to the gun counter I will ask them if they have stock at the south side branch. The old bleary eyed guy avoided eye contact until his shift was over,Don't get me wrong,I'm not so young and my eyes ain't what they use to be.The young buck was telling every customer that he had that they had picked out the finest rifle made, and he would personally mount the scope, bore sight it in and then bring it back to the counter to check eye relief. After about 30 minutes of patiently waiting I think I got the old bleary eyed guy's granddad to serve me.He couldn't use the stores computer if his life depended on it.In desperation he asks the young dude to "help me out".I'm busy the young dude says, get that guy to help you. After about a hour I grabbed a WS sports catalogue and phoned the South Side store myself.Do you have 30 M1 carbine dies?Let me check please hold for a moment.(brief pause) Yes we do would you like me to hold them for you?Yep I'll be down shortly. In less time than I stood waiting at the counter at the north store I drove across the city and walked up to the gun counter and found that indeed the salesman had put them behind the counter for me.Is there anything else I can help you with he asks?Well $786.62 later that shows what good service can do.Hats off to you Jean-Claude for great service!!!!
