Wow, I just did a real quick search and it looks like a set will be over $300 US plus tax shipping etc..... Crazy pricing! Half the cost of the firearm just for the sights! No wonder you don't want to bring them in!

Edit, looks like the first HK site I saw was out to lunch and they are available as sets for around $125 plus from other sources..... :)

Edit again, Looks like the $125 was a special limited buy! Maybe they are $300 plus!
 
Except you need to "legally" import it through Canada export control and US State dept.

A close up of the pistol with ten round mag and case. We are WAITING for the legality of the 30 round Colt 22lr magazine use in the pistol from the CFO. We currently cannot find a regulation that states "Use of a magazine designed and manufactured for use in rifle only - that also happens to fit in pistol". Will update you guys when we find out this upcoming week. Use of 30 round mag in rifle is fine.

Are you selling the 20 round Colt mags also?...your website talks about the 20 rounders...but your picture 2 above shows the 30's (and is there a price difference between the 2 if you are selling both).
 
Yes it is actually a 30 round mag not 20. We only have 30 round mags right now. Website will be fixed shortly thanks for the keen eye !!

ugh. Well, I haven't opened the 30 round mag so I'll return it if there is a problem and pick up a couple more 10-rounders if you are forced to bring them in. I don't want my wife to go to jail. :)

The magazine package says: "For Colt M4/M16 .22 rimfire only" and when I read the RCMP blurb on magazines carefully, to me it should be fine. Then again, I'm applying logic to this which doesn't always work. lol!

Yes Jim......I even put a mag in order to feel the love hahaha.......I think it will be fine. Funny thing about over regulating, you can leave loop holes. That is what we feel will happen here.
 
Does the Pistol version allow for the addition of a receiver extension tube? That would be a nice looking SBR!

Yes Edwin your rifle has shipped. Joe is in Europe and is back on the 17th so I don't have a tracking number. But if Joe says it shipped....it shipped. You are on the other side of Canada in the Christmas season. Please be patient. It will probably be there today.
 
30 Round Colt Rifle mags in 22lr are........................LEGAL in the HK416 Pistol. That's the word from the RCMP SFSS today.
