Leave the spring some early model came that way,
Just make sure too clean the pin and channel, before shooting.
I did. Turned it into a primer popping machine. The
Murray's is also a primer popping machine as well. Stay stock
I call bullsh*t, i've been using a Murrys pin for a few years and it works great.
If you keep it clean there is no problems,I got the Murrys just to be extra safe and it was cheap.
Use a spray cleaner like brakleen, gun scrubber, G96 crud buster etc to spray the bolt out. It will get it spotless without having to scrub anything and is a whole lot faster. If it rattles, your good to go. If youre shooting surplus you will probably never have a slam fire if you clean it once in a while and dont let it rust solid.
