T97A Final Verdict?

I did, and that deposit went to another gun later instead. Looks like I am going to have to commit a dejavu again.
But I am curious what Canam would like to add to this shipment, and what came out of the final verdict to make it all good again?
 
Just found my original preorder...yikes! It's from 3 years ago...still valid? Hmmm....

I'm wondering the same. Do you still have our names (my name!) on a list from way back when, or are you creating a new pre-order list?

I just logged onto CanadaAmmo's site & searched their system for my original pre-order & nothing shows... Save for the case of 7.62x39 that I ordered over the weekend. And yes, I did select "All Time" in the search. Brordo, are you saying you still see your pre-order in CanAm's sytem or maybe you're referring to a confirmation email from 3 years ago?

ANSWERED my own question by searching my email. Found my ORIGINAL pre-order from Nov.11th, 2008.

And... In Feb of 2010, I used that deposit to purchase my first Tavor from CanadaAmmo...

And placed another pre-order for a T97 on March 19th, 2010.

I'll have been waiting almost 5 years for a T97 by the time they arrive this coming spring! YES, I am a stubborn & determined fellow, HE HE HE. Gonna be SO AWESOME to stuff it in the face of the ANTI-GUNNERS!

Pretty much what I did...found my original email confirmation and then used that number to look up my order. Otherwise, I get nada when using their order lookup from the profile page (and I have ordered stuff so it shouldn't be blank).
 
So are the new T97's going to be non-restricted or is the RCMP going to find some way to prevent them from being released like what they did with the first shipment?
 
Haha...I would not even plan on seeing any of them! Everyone one got all excited before it was evident that they had not been approved yet. My opinion is that once they see it looks physically the same it will be rejected. I hope I am wrong....but they have it in their heads now that it looks bad bad bad!!!!

Sorry, pistol.. Stainless URX.. Barely put 400 rds through it (200 minimags to break it in and about 1/3 of a 500rd box of Fed bulk).. Nice little gun but I don't like taking a restricted to the range and have plenty of fun with the rifles.. Eventually I'll get a centerfire pistol, but for now, I REALLY want a type 97 :cool:
