I was negligent with my shorty (and very busy) and left it sitting for a few weeks after shooting it before I was able to get around to cleaning it last night.
When I went to field strip the rifle I found that I couldn't swing the trigger guard all the way to release the trigger group. It goes about half way and then comes to a hard stop.
I sprayed the crap out of it with wd40 last night and I'll see if that did anything, but I'm looking for any other suggestions to help me remove the trigger group and give the rifle a good clean and lubing.
Any help is much appreciated.
