How do the owners of the newest Winchester Model 94s like these new guns. I was impressed. The older ones don't compare. Hopefully they add a 16" Trapper model in 30-30 soon.

I have owned both before and after 64 rifles and there is not that much difference for me. Just when your blind in one eye and can't see out of the other iron sights suck.

The new ones are made by the same people that make Brownings. If you think new Brownings are junk then they are junk, but if you think as I do that the new Brownings are a well built rifle then the new Win 94's are good. Compared to the pre 64 win 94 they are well built and smoother, the pre64's have better triggers and are simpler and will never let you down in the :bigHug::bigHug::bigHug::bigHug:. The post 64 till mid 70's are junk and I would not trust them to stay together without a bit of work and changing out of parts (I use one of these for shooting deer). The post 64's after the mid 70's are pretty good rifles until the angle eject came out. The early angle eject was ok except for the rebounding hammer that is junk, it can be reworked with alot of patience and a little nohow. I have played with just about all the era's
