No NR barrel yet, but hopefully that's in the works.

Soon all the Tavors on EE will be 100% overpriced instead of only 50% overpriced :D:D:D
 
Soooo, I guess the obvious question is how will this affect prices up here. Even if they were selling for closer to 2300-2400 that would be more reasonable. Ideally a tavor for 2k would be awesome sauce. Also it would be good to know if they would become more readily available up here, and if they would still be built as good as the one from isreal

All those tavors listed on that list will be restricted...which is a big turn off for most people.
And it will cost more than $2000 up here because of importing fees and other stupid fees..

They need 20" barrel to have overall length of 30"

$2300 for a restricted Tavor? IMHO most people would be willing to pay the extra $400 for a NR length barrel. Mind you, some people want shorty barrels, so these may be the ticket for them.
 
Well considering that we got the Tavor long before they did and as I recall Canadaammo was the first civilian contract that IWI had and the amount of crap he had to go through was enormous to get it.
 
The real selling point for Yankee Tavors, is a hidden one. While the Israeli Tavors have an acrid chemical smell when fired (if you own one, you know what I mean), the Yankee ones smell like apple pie. Plus the metals they use have freedom molecules mixed in, that tests have shown help raise morale, when mixed with alcohol and sports. (oddly, the same molecules have been shown to cause cancer in the state of California, probably explaining their urge to ban them...)

Also if you convert your 2nd AR magazine into a whiskey flask, you get bonus freedom points
