They were once 1999$ here. I believe from Canada ammo
So why the giant price hike even when we have a stronger dollar? At $2000 or less, a lot of Canadian customers would jump on the Tavor bandwagon. But when we're closer to $3000+, it just gets a bit tricky to justify the purchase to yourself, let alone your other half.

This has always been my biggest beef with Canadian firearm regs: OAL and barrel length. As you say, its totally redundant and aggravating.I wish we could get the restricted category classification on OAL and remove the ridiculous barrel length portion. Having both is redundant. We should advocate it based purely on easy of verification in the field by officers.
I cannot see the Tavor being a big seller in the U.S. market at those prices, not when you can get a gold plated Gucci AR and a bag of chips for the same money.
For the 2K range I would forego my T-97 preorder and just save up for a Tavor. But till that point, ugly communist rifle for me![]()
A bunch of tavor sales in the US guarantees access to parts in the future. This is better than hoping for parts from Israel if you need something.
Used (mint) Tavors can be found in the $2k range, so what's stopping you...?![]()
LOL That is a joke right?
They are more in the $3000 price range. That is some elegant rounding down you are doing![]()
We will be a stocking dealer in the New Year and we will carry the Non Restricted version.... Just for Canada....
