He shoots better than I do......but I have a bayonet for the up-close stuff.

I love this man, but he needs to buy some chargers. This swapping mags business is amateur hour.

Yeah. This is the second time I see anyone ''changing mags'' on a Lee-Enfield. The first time I saw this practise was in a Call of Duty video game for PS2 if I recall correctly. I should mail him some stripper clips.

thanks alot for posting that video, all i can think about is a jungle carbine, i want one so bad and now i am surfing EE :(

I love mine, it's a ROF. It's one of my more accurate milsurps too. Don't ask me how...

Great hunting rifle too. Quick handling and light weight...well, for a .303.

I'm telling you: slip on pad. There will be lots of movement still, just no pain.

X2 on the slip on pad!!! I was trying to be a purist all summer but a couple of weeks ago I put 40 down range with my no1 mk3 Sporter and my shoulder was purple even with a sweater and winter jacket on!! I grabbed a but pad 2 weeks ago and what a difference!!

I need a jungle carbine be for they're priced out of my range!!!

anyway, i'm not sure whether the rubber pad that's built into the butt of the No5 was put there for a joke or something. seems to make the recoil worse, since it's narrower than the butt. maybe they were a lot softer when they came out of the factory.

I believe it was to protect the rifle butt, when being transported in vehicles and aircraft.

sounds vaguely plausible. but i've never seen any other rifle that needed that sort of protection. the FN and the C7 both work well as a shoulder load on a jump...
