What would you gift to yourself, hunting, firearms and related. Good health of course is first and Kevan I hope all goes well for you and you are back out hunting next season. Beyond that what is your wildest hunting/firearms fantasy. African hunt, double rifle, custom rifle, Marco polo hunt, Altai Argali hunt, Elephant.............
What would you do for yourself if someone gave you the opportunity to do or have any hunting adventure or firearm you chose?

7-08 mm hunting gun for my daughter, and another CZ Shadow for dear me, as a backup gun (for matches I shoot)...
I saved $7500 reloading my own ammo over last 4+ years, I should be able to do this :)

Spend a few months in Africa, New Zealand, and Autralia. And get myself another aircraft, most likely just a good old 150-160 PA-18...

Oh, and about 30 rifles....

EDIT: I almost forgot a Desert Sheep hunt!! Still need to complete my NA grand slam!

I'd take my NEW KING and set out for Africa, Australia. I've got plenty of Aussie friends that would love to see me, I'm sure. Probbaly shoot a bunch of buffalo in both places. I probably wouldn't bother with elephant or lion, but a hippo or croc might be fun, too.

And of course a few months off right here in BC to hunt blacktail deer, moose, sheep, goat and hopefully a grizzly draw. :D

Yes, I too need the desert to accomplish my NA slam, I just bought a PA32-300 last fall...love it,fast, hauls a load and in and out on 1000 ft. Great aircraft!!!!!!!

Didn't you get an LEH draw for grizzly last fall? I thought you posted that you did, or was it last spring?
You just need to move to the Yukon, then you could shoot dall sheep, stone sheep, 2 caribou, moose, bison, a goat and 2 black bear every year, no draw required and a grizzly every 3 years no draw required, and then draw in for elk and mule deer and oh ya all the wolves and coyotes your heart desires. Actually I think there is a season and limit on wolves now.........5 I believe. There is only one law here though, no Ruger sh!t, you must hunt with the "TRUE KING" the .375 H&H!!!! Trust me it's the law here, it says right in the game laws "no Ruger sh!t calibers all hunting done with calibers over 35 cal to be done with the "TRUE KING", .375 H&H" ;):D:p:slap:

I'm computer challenged and I absolutely never text, I'm afraid I just don't know all the acronyms, so I ask. Something wrong with that?

Read what he posted again. Think about it. JOC was around long before texting... A long time hunter such as yourself should be able to figure it out :D

Hint: JOC is a person.

The list of firearms I would buy would be waaaaaayy too long to write, but maybe near the top of the list would be a AAA grade double rifle in 450NE and one of the nicest 1874 sharps that Shilo rifle of Montana would be willing to build me.
On top of that, a nice relatively low time 300 series deHavilland Twin Otter with -27's and a set of shaved DC-3 tires so I can play in the mud. Then a whole truck load of Jet-A so I can actually play with the Otter.
That would pretty much fit the bill for Christmas I think...:D

A pair of Martini built Hagn singleshots in .275 Rigby and .375 H&H.
Moose hunts in every available jurisdiction, starting in the Yukon.
And as long as we're wishing for aircraft, a Turbo Beaver with all the goodies.
