Well..it's done. Just have to bore site the scope and build a load for it..
The beginning..
As I bought it for $95.
With the Richards Microfit laminate stock...
After I got it back from the gunsmith.(blue Mountain Sports) He rebarrelled it, drilled and tapped it for a scope and turned the bolt handle for me.
I modified the safety on it to clear the scope then changed my mind and put a timney trigger on it..which makes this safety redundant.
Here it is now..action is bedded using devcon metal puddy and I refinished the barrel and action using moly based flat black gun kote.
the shiny spots on the bolt is oil..
Al that is left is to find a load it likes. A buddy of mine shot a 2 round 4" group at 600 yards with his yesterday..
