LOL...I'm hoping for today but I think our mail people have the same Monday issue...perhaps it's a policy directive at a higher level...Merry Christmas.
If not today I'm hoping for this Year. I'll post when it arrives. I plan to call today to make sure my ATT was processed, some people had them emailed and I didn't receive mine yet (been a week since I applied by phone).

Congrats...now for the printing and mailing wait.

I assume you are getting a Registered License so I suggest you call the Firearms Center and press the selection for ATT. You can do the application by phone and either fax or email your range membership card to them so you don'y have a long wait for your ATT.

I have yet to join a club as money has been a bit tight (christmas and all). Plan on doing so after the holidays. As it stands, my shopping list includes mostly non restricted firearms so I will catering to that list first, then start looking for my first restricted. Thanks all!

Called the Firearms Centre...asked about my ATT...was mailed on Dec 17th

Lady offered to email it which I just received...Has my PAL number on it so I'm good to go with an e-order...Merry Christmas

Now to check the mail and see if the real things arrived so I can buy local.

Congrats!! I just got an envelope from the RCMP!!!! :) But it's the one they said would come when they tried to call and I wasn't home. lol. Was really jacked for few minutes until I realized the envelope was all paper. Later in the week I'm sure...

Got my AT&T in the mail today just after i got the email copy. But no PAL yet... AT&T was issued days after the PAL issue date so those PAL printers are very slow
Hopefully the PAL will show Thursday or Friday

Application received Nov 29
Application appeared online Dec 18
Payment taken Dec 19
Called in this morning to inquire about the progress of my application and was told my photo has not been scanned into the system yet so there is a delay. I was also told to call in early next week to do my phone interview.

Anyone else having minor delays?

I got mine done a few weeks before Christmas. The lady I spoke to on the phone told me to get my references to call in ASAP because they operate on a skeleton crew around the holidays and to expect delays if I wait.

Yes, it seems you are a victim of Christmas celebrations and staff vacation time...pretty standard this time of year in the Government. :rolleyes:
 
It always has to be that one with the name nitpicker that answers questions sarcastically. Thanks for feeling my sorrow with me. I guess your paperwork has been processed, sorry for being antsy. I didn't know the Government answered phones while on vacation.

Hey, didn't mean to upset you....I do feel your pain as I wait for the mailman to deliver my license. I don't agree my posts are 'always' sarcastic but since I obviously offended you please allow me to re-phrase...

Government services do not shut down other than on statutory holidays however during the holiday season they operate at a reduced staff level to allow people to use some of their well needed vacation time. The phones do get answered and things do keep moving, albeit at a much slower pace. Due to the unfortunate timing of your application, it seems you have been caught up in the holiday season slowdown. I sincerely hope that your application is approved early in the New Year. Happy New Year.

Got my interviews done 2 weeks ago, everything is complete and still shows online as in progress, i called RCMP last week and they said it is now in Ont CFO hands, she said to expect delays as they are running behind, prb like 2 weeks or so. Looks like a new years gift for me
