NEA 14.5 carbines in stock anywhere?

Spoke to fella at Colanes Sporting Goods in Dawson Creek BC.

Claims (you see < word.......) that he should have no issues getting one.

Don't know if this fella seems to understand what is happening with ARs in the States and so because, what is happening here. I too am a few weeks out from going after a 10.5" version.

If you want a ar lower quickly, contact saskatoon gun works and get a aero lower. I just paid 360 with tax and shipping.
I read that they make stag and spikes lowers as well as a few others.

You really just can't help yourself can you? Let it go man, relax. It's not your job to put down NEA every time a thread mentions them. It's not your job to save all of us with NEAs from kabooms. Why don't you head on over to the pistols and revolvers forum and troll the glock threads? At least they have had kabooms so you might not be viewed as being quiet so unbalanced.

Why don't you just admit that a lot I mean a lot of garbage has left NEA pretending to be good quality parts?. No reason to comment on glock products they have been making great reliable pistols for a long time, Glocks work and work well, Nea not so much.

Funny you mention glock working well and NEA not...
here is my experience...

Glock 17 Gen 4 - chambers every round great, right? wrong...
guide rod popped off and damaged the inside of the frame, every follow up shot was scraping the inside.
brass flying all over the place, in the face, to the left to the right, one flew and cought between my hearing protection and my head...

NEA 15 - 12.5" - 800 rounds. all went bang, all shot straight, all brass flew into the same spot (which i used a brass catcher after i dumped a few test mags)

overall...reliability ...NEA Wins....hows your nea that youve used?

i have to wait for more warrenty parts for my glock, they dont want me to install them so i have to take a day, drive down and wait while they fix it... rather than sending me the part with a 50 cent stamp... im going to end up buying the replacement parts myself.

If you have access to a NEA 12.5" I'd take that.

good advice. im having someone else review my NEA thats on here, i think he wants a little more trigger time with it, i may have to just give him my upper if i cant make it out with him.

Let's keep things on topic.... the original poster wants to know where to buy one. The quality is water under the bridge. Time to move on... get out and shoot your AR's ; whatever brand you like. Focus less and the hardware and more on your training, all you AR and black rifle lovers! Can't leave out the tan and green rifle lovers, too! :D

Cheers,
Barney

compare the number of glocks produced with the number of NEA-15 produced. The comparison is giant pumpkins to grapes.

Great but ....

Did someone say troll?

Mg4201 you do manage to come up with such BS . “risk injury when one of these POS kaboom and you eat the bolt”

We have moved a couple of hundred guns, guess what? No “kabooms”.
Has anyone seen or heard of any kabooms, beside the one at NEA where there was a suspected ammo issue? BTW, no one ate the bolt as the rifle took it pretty well.

Our demo 14.5” is nearing the 8k round mark on the same bolt and trigger, the 10.5 is nearing 5K , impossible according to you I suppose. These are of the very first ones built.

Received my personal 14.5 with the new mid length system 2 weeks ago, have put a couple of hundred rounds through, WTF not a single issue.

No one is denying NEA had a few issues early on, mostly with third party items, such as bolts and triggers, but have rectified and made good , including changing suppliers.
Really about time you got over yourself with your NEA issues , that is of course unless there are ulterior motives. Your constant slagging off of them at every opportunity, should at the very least be raising some eyebrows on this forum.

Which is pumpkins and which is grapes?
I'm fairly certain there are a LOT more grapes grown annually than pumpkins.

When a companys biggest problem is keeping upo with demand, that's not a bad problem.

There is a picture on here from maybe two weeks ago showing an NEA bolt that had sheared 3 of its bolt lugs at the 250 round mark. Not one thing I have posted here is untrue. The only motive I have is to point out the obvious fact that NEA has serious long term QC issues which they have not addressed. They released out of spec lowers two weeks ago, Is that a supplier issue?. No its not its a too lazy to use an inside micrometer issue which is a symptom of the don't give a f@ck attitude of NEA in general. Add to that the slimey dishonest business practices and you have a company not worth dealing with.

Last warning berfore the infractions start.

To the OP, Check out the dealer list on the NEA homepage and maybe make a few calls to see if there are any dealers that may have them instock. I know SFRC is back ordered and the 14.5 can't be ordered on thier website until the back orders get filled. Wolverine Supplies has parts but not complete rifles.

Even though I am not a fan of the finish, I would buy an NEA (perhaps one with an 18" barrel).

They have never really been in stock anywhere. I recently purchased a S&W M&P Sport because I decided that I could no longer wait for what may never come.

Hopefully, NEA is tooling up to be able to deliver volume. If not, others will have to step in and satisfy the domestic demand. I just cannot bring myself to pay for a boutique AR for use at a range.

I contacted NEA then their dealer list. Each of them came back with negatives on stock. I want to pick up some uppers. Shorty and a mid length.

What does NEA have to say about supply?

Been thinking about contacting them myself. If it will be awhile, I may go another (if at all possible.....) route.

NEA doesn't comment on here, but if you have facebook join their group. One of the guys messaged me back within 24hrs when I asked questions bothe before and after purchase.

They did post on their facebook wall about a month ago that they had sold out of all parts and accessories and nothing would be out till the new year.

Don't know if that helps you.
