Pricing on used shotguns?

I don't have 391 for sale, I'm afraid you are mistaken.

As to me annoying you, feel free not to read my posts. The blog is for everyone and I want to be an active participant. As to unqualified opinion, what makes one more qualified than another and who is to judge?
Equality for all!

Now, I don't mean to be a #### but I'm pretty sure that the unqualified opinion was proven when you said (here or on another thread) that the Winchester SX3 and Browning Maxus shotguns shared the same internals...and that is just one of many.

Everyones opinion is welcome but remember that there are lots of "newbies" that know absolutely nothing about firearms or anything related to hunting and shooting. These people come here looking for answers to their questions and we don't want, nor do we need them, leaving here with the wrong info. If you are going to post a comment be absolutely certain is it right or true. If you aren't %100 sure then be honest about it and say so...otherwise say nothing!

BTW...that goes for everyone of us on this forum and not just you SS1980...but you should really write it down on a post-it and stick it in the corner of your screen! LOL! :)

Well said:cheers:
Who said Information is not knowledge Hummm

Nice, I mean the requirements to post an introduction, request access to the forum and then wait to be approved by someone I've never met. When on other sites, you just register, confirm your email and you're good to go!

Seeing that I had to endure the horrible ordeal of sending a simple PM to the EE admin, then wait a whole day or so myself, I can't understand where you are coming from. As for the rules and requirements, I don't consider having to post a price, and waiting 7 days between bumps, to be all that restrictive.

Since anyone can provide you with someone else's PAL number, you can confirm that the PAL is valid, but you still won't know if it even belongs to the individual. Before the LGR was done away with, I had many people provide me with PAL numbers, and when I called the CFC, they didn't tell me the person's address or provide me with any way to identify them.

I agree with that one.

At least we agree on something!

You are not obligated to post an introduction. As for applying for access to the EE, it took about 30 seconds to do so, and I was granted access in under 24 hours. I don't see it as a big deal. As for dealing with people that you have met, isn't that the intent of joining the EE in the first place?

You are right and you are right. But I'm also right. But we can't be both right! :)

Wow! This ignore list function is a beautiful thing. I have never had to use it until now.

I don't generally use that feature, but I am considering making an exception in this case. The only thing stopping me is that even though I could never take him seriously, I find reading his ads in the EE to be very entertaining.

Hopefully we can bring the thread back to gun pricing as it was intended.

The bottom line, is that you are likely much better off judging prices based on our own EE, than you are by looking at the US sites like Gunbroker, or Gunsamerica, as the Canadian market does vary from the US market. If a gun sits on the EE for several weeks, the price is likely too high, if it sells immediately, it is fair, or even below market value.

Agree. Ist time for me also tonight. Feel bad but just cannot listen any more to so much inaccurate information and foolishness.
New members expect and deserve better. I'm no expert but try my best to help where I can at least what I provide is from actually doing it myself not always right but not always wrong either . take care

Don't get offended my new members like me, please. Give us room.

I bow to your experience but I see you're easily touched by anything I do on this forum, by my every post. That happens with some people -- they are called antipodes. And that's fine by me, just don't get emotional about this. This is just a forum and I read a lot and want to participate. Don't know why you agenda is to shut me down, or so it seems, but I want to post a lot, I want to read, I want to write. This forum is the whole new avenue for me!

Actually,it's more a case of you seeming to pretend that you know a great deal about shotguns, while your posts repeatedly prove that you really don't know that much at all. 3macs1 is just one of several people that actually does have considerable knowledge and experience with shotguns, and that have seen more than enough of your misinformation. Like several other forum members, he doesn't want you leading less knowledgeable readers astray with your nonsense.

but I want to post a lot, I want to read, I want to write.

At least try and post about something that you actually have some knowledge about, whatever that may be, it obviously isn't shotguns.

We definitely have different agendas.

I already have as many shotguns as I need, so I hesitated a few minutes to ask a couple of questions before committing, and I was too late. It was the Lightning Sporting Clays Edition, which isn't my favorite version, but it was a great deal.

Ha you sure love those puppies;) Now if they would get wise and take the barrels and turn them sideways I would be getting one also. Don't know why I just lost my passion for O/U and I shot 4 barrel sets for years and ended with a K-32 but today no way.
Maybe I am too weak to lift them anymore. ;);)

Stubblejumper More than you need that can never happen. All the BS on this forum has you not thinking straight and quite understandable. Give it a week and I am sure you will feel better and have your eye on something. We all say this is the last one NOT ;);)
