Is it possible to get a Ruger 10/22 these days?

Lebarons website is a online catalogue, they don't have any information on stock at all. Like most other sites, they list what they usually have in stock, but if you were to call them, they barely have anything for 10/22's. Like most other places it's a waiting game. You have to be looking in the right spot at the right time.
i bought a hardwood one for 400$ not long ago. i am so mad about it you cant understand.
back in the day i didnt know what a firearm was worth, now you can bet ive learned my lesson.
-Overall poor finish, the barrel isn't even smooth its full of line from the milling (outside finish).
-plastic, plastic everywhere.
-the rifle is made of like 5basic part, and they sell it for a fortune.
-the receiver isn't even metal, its aluminum.
-dont even come with sling attachment, almost 50$ extra if you want a sling. (15$hardware, 15-30$ sling+drill and tap it yourself)
-the trigger is so hard at the beginning i thought it was broken.
i could have bought a cheap semiauto Norinco instead... :'(
its my review on it, i dont mean to scare people off.

Wow, you definatly paid to much pomelum. They're kind of set up as a newbie gun, heavy trigger, yeah lots of plastic. And some of them have a pretty rough finish. And you're Québécois is showing through even through text haha. But really, theres the odd lemon out there, most of the run reliably, shoot consistently and are priced reasonably... not so much these days, but the past few years. People buy and do stuff to em', they're adequate from the factory - but there is much more to be had! Simple 5 basic parts, like you say, its easy to alter things here and there. Lots of 10/22 information throughout this forum, or buy a marlin. Haha.

You just have to be quick. I decided to pick up another one around the beginning of December. Suddenly there were none anywhere. So I kept a vigil, and when my LGS listed one on their site I was there cash in hand when they had been open only 30 minutes. Of two, one had a hold on it, and I walked out with my plain vanilla 10/22. Supposedly for a project base, but after modding the bolt release and trigger, I like it as is, so I guess I'm still looking 
Keep watching, and dont hesitate when you see one. Even if the LGS is a little more $ it is in your hand and no shipping time/expense. See if any of them will call you when stock arrives, or even put down a deposit.

Thats the industry right now. I've got 4 guns pending availability. I want what I want, and I'm willing to wait for what I want.I made the mistake of turning down the waiting list once before, and apparently nobody else did, because my turn never came lol! If you want it, you need to persue it. Get on a list, and try to forget about it because most of the time the ETA is a joke IME. Predictions are difficult to make. Especially about the future

Ordered a 10/22 takedown from Frontier Firearms last Monday. shipped same day. got it on Thursday. what wait list?
I bought the last stainless/synthetic from P and D this week, pretty hard gun to find right about now. They had just got a few SR-22s in when I went to pick my gun up.
Other than the one I found at P and D, the long list of stores I called had nothing, one store had butler creek mags and they wanted $50 for one, and the only 10/22 I found along the way was PINK!

I haven't been in lately but the store in my sig had all kinds the last time I was in there. I've pointed a few CGNers to call and ask what he has, no one ever replied back to me to tell me he had none, so I assume he still has some? All I know was the last time I was in he had 2 of evey model except for a couple models that he was expecting within a couple weeks. They have a webpage, but it's not completed, and all the inventory is not loaded onto their page yet. best to call and ask. Danny, Tony or Michelle (I think thats her name) are the ones to talk to. And please, if you do call and they are out, post here so no one else calls looking. I am trying to give him some internet exposure as he is just getting into the Canada wide sales. They have a lot of accessories, any CGNers that have been in there can vouch for the store, they are jammed full of stuff.
