YOU'VE GOT TO SEE THIS!! (largest coyote ever shot in Newfoundland)

I have to admit my skepticism about wolf vs coyote, but consider this.

We live on an island. The last wolf was killed on this island in the 1930s. The straight line distance between the area where this beast was taken and the nearest point where you might typically see a wolf, in southern Labrador: 440 kilometers, separated by 16 km of water, with inconsistent sea ice conditions.

Without a detailed look at the beast, possible someone's dog took a bullet.;)

Well in the east coast of the country we do have bigger coyotes. Here in NS there getting really big. Part wolf maybe. But I shot this one behind my house.

In those posts, I identified wastes of bandwidth. I did the same here. Just because you have a post count equalling on average 7-8 posts a day over a few straight years, doesn't mean you need to frequently input your rude 2 cents worth into as many threads as you do. Funny that you label me as a troll, when it is you that are always posting textual diarrhea.

I would have to agree. ;)

Why lock the thread. There's good information here. We know that the coyotes are getting cross bred resulting in bigger coyotes.
Bigger coyotes are bigger targets.
So my idea is this. Lets all plan on shooting a really big coyote this year. But you have to shoot all the small ones along the way.
If the one shot on nl was a wolf that's even better. A wolf population would destroy the woodland caribou. As we all know the its one of the few places that we can legally hunt the woodland caribou.

that thing looks like the dog/husky crosses i used to see alot of in my hometown of squamish bc, out towards the indian reserves you would see lots of dog/wolf similar to this one
