I'm not sure how many people are aware of the GTUL, but it makes cleaning Glock mags or swapping baseplates very EZ and all for $20.
I ordered my kit from Brownells, really not sure who sells it here

I wanted to swap out the stock baseplate for an extended Pearce one

You slide the GTUL up the mag until it rests against the plate

Then you squeeze the GTUL while using the punch on the end of the brush to depress the little button and pry back on it (Sorry no pics it took two hands :p )

Then you can put down the brush and continue carefully sliding the baseplate off as its under spring pressure

Voila the disassembled pieces

Then its just reverse order, slide on new baseplate while pushing down the spring

Hope this helps someone:D

That looks pretty useful. I'm interested to see the mag in your gun with that extended baseplate too. Mind posting a pic?

That looks good. Thanks. Now between my new Glock and my JR Carbine, I might have to order one of the GTUL'S...

I changed all my G27 baseplates with a steel punch, small rag and my little workbench vice. Easy and I use my mini vice for a lot more than just that, to each there own.
