Masterpiece Arms MPAR 556, cheap AR15 competitor?

No Canadian made non-restricted black rifle will ever be less than $2000. It just can't be done for any less. The market is too small and development costs are too great.

While 2K is a little on the steep side for the average joe, It is not that unreasonable for a semi auto that is non restricted and hopefully modular like the AR platform for the tinkerers in the crowd. But this 3000.00 and up crap is outa reach for many.
You build that rifle for $1999.00 or less and I am in.
Wish you luck though in the Canadian market where the couch Piranahs have no loyalty or patience.

You're giving the average joe way too much credit. Most people wouldn't see anything in Volk Arms. Volkswagen pretty much sums it up. History moves on, for most of us.

Just my 2 cents.
