This is the first time I've seen any mention that a MIL Spec LPK cannot be used and parts need to be modified in order to fit your lower.
I feel I should mention that I have seen Rick reiterate this same thing about 10 times now… in just about every thread that it comes up in. Should probably put it on the site, but yeah, he is starting to sound like a broken record.
Also, I believe the lower has captured springs, which requires cutting the springs… really it should be pretty simple, but as he said people have tried and failed. Capturing the springs lets you change gips and stocks easier, it is a nice upgrade, but not possible to do without cutting the springs.
I degress… I have a Dlask and a Noveske Gen 2… the finish on the Dlask is quite nice, the nicest I have, I have no complaints as per fit and finish, although the engravings could be a little nicer. The Noveske has an integrated trigger guard and I giant flare on the mag well, but the finish is a little light for my liking, yet to test the fit but I am sure it is above par…
