Any further word on the FRT for these? Apparently they are expected in late April.

This is how most vendors operate. Talk up a big game months or years before they actually have the product to ensure adequate sales. Unfortunately, it often serves to p*ss people off more than secure sales.

It often serves to give enough clues to the RCMP that it would be a popular gun,
so it would be a good idea to prepare a plan to ban it.
Exactly same sequence of events like 5 yrs ago. Absolutely the same.

So, in order to make an exact re-enactment, somebody please call the usual suspects
to start posting pix of chinese military using it. And videos with full auto. And polls.
And references to how much it pisses the antis off
and how the mall-ninjas will be bleating when they will rub the antis' nose in it.

They shouldn't have said a word until they had an FRT # issued. It is February.... wasn't it supposed to be issued in early January?
 
Anyone who has been on here for longer than 6 months knows that anything to do with the Canadian gun market takes much longer than expected.

As far as letting the word out, from what I understand it was unintentional.
 
maybe.... but having a pre-order list turned it from a distant rumor into a daily conversation on these forums. That is at least partially the distributors fault.

Lets have some optimism here. I really think these are cool and I really want to hunt coyotes with one. be positive, we can make this happen.
 
just treat it like a swear jar, every time you click on the thread looking for updates throw $10 into a jar, by the time there is any new developments you will have enough in the jar for a Tavor
 
I just saw Warm Bodies with the g/f...its like a chick zombie movie but was enough laughs and action (but it was toned down for a heavily younger and female audience) that I didn't hate it. And the main girls friend is a TOTAL babe!!!

ANYWAYS...

A few of the soldiers are rocking Type 97s with drum mags!!!
