Well why don't YOU import them and sell them...if you think its just that easy!!!
Contrary to what you're lead to believe it isn't that hard. I've done it numerous times before.

Thanks, for pointing that out. I'm mistaken. I thought NS was the main distributor for Mossberg.
Glad to hear you're one of Mossberg's biggest dealers. By the way, I was on their site and I don't see your company listed in their international dealer listing found here: h ttp://mossberg.com/international-dealer-listing Where you're one of their biggest dealers I'm surprised that you weren't listed there. You might want to get yourself listed.

I would suggest you take a second to read what Phil wrote... he states is one of North Sylva's largest customers.
Then go for it, let Mossberg know that a brand new, one man show wants to by-pass distributors and buy direct from them, let me know how that works out.

The hostility in this thread is nuts.
Lol you do realize there are US firearms dealers? Or do you actually believe that ALL Americans buy direct from the manufacturer? This thread is so full of fail...

Well, aren't we full of bravado with (229) posts to their credit.
My comment was in reference to having ordered items from the US before. In no way did I indicate that I wanted to import firearms for resale. I simply said the process isn't all that difficult should a person wish to do it themselves. Sure, it's somewhat intimidating at first but it's not that bad once you know what you're doing.
FYI, about (11) years ago I had a hobby business and I was bying factory direct from Hornady and Nosler at the time. I'm well aware of the import/export paperwork and procedures and did my own CCRA B3's and other customs related documents. I never wanted to pay a broker to do it when I could learn to do it myself.
Yes, but usually manufacturers want well established dealers before they sell direct.
I also don't read how laws work.
No one said anything about buying direct; he was talking importing. If you can find an FFL dealer in the USA and the manufacturer is licensed for export (Mossberg definitely is) then you can import a firearm from the US to Canada. It isn't hard and you were arguing that it was.

2bad4u2 does bring up some rather valid points...........

I read Phil's comment and I understood him to mean he was one of North Sylva's biggest Mossberg dealers. I must have misread it. Oh dear, I'm going to lose sleep for sure. lol

Like I said I was misunderstood. He was correct that personal importation is not entirely difficult.

Aren't you full of bravado with only 2,896 posts to your credit? As if post count means anything.
Yes, you misread it. Work on that.
Sporting ammunition =/= firearms in "military" calibers with evil flash hiders. Also ITAR regs have been tightened, especially for items with the features I mentioned in the previous sentence. So you may have a rough idea of some of the export paperwork involved, but your knowledge is outdated and doesn't transfer over to the listed firearms directly.
Also, have you maybe considered that there are supply issues from Mossberg? I'm sure Mossberg is having enough trouble meeting domestic demand, let alone sending shipments north.
So there are numerous factors that you appear to not have even considered.

ITAR regs have actually loosened alot the last 6 months.......hell, they're even approving export permits on .50BMG items right now.
