has anyone noticed supply getting low in Canada yet because of the Americans stockpiling yet?

what should I / we be stocking up for the upcoming season?

Well, Wholesale Sports was out of everything I needed last weekend, but that seems to be part of their normal business plan anyway.

Couldn't agree more...not sure who does the ordering for these guys but they really don't get it. Here in the gap I can find everything I want to fish for salmon (why I have no idea) but 25 cal bullets forget it.

I was in Wholesale a couple weeks ago and the only thing they didn't have for me was RL-15, having said that I wasn't looking for anything exotic.

I also just order a few 100 pieces of PRVI brass from Mystic and although they're not in stock there's no indication they'll be difficult to get in.

Pretty much sums it. Our WS seems to be at the end of the supply chain and gets stuff, maybe. I was pretty much told that the other night. They're going to bring some stuff I need in from the Saskatoon store, which apparently has bags of stock.

Can't find Titegroup or 2400 for love or money, and i bought them out of RL7 a few weeks back, but stuff like Unique or SR4759 seems plentiful. They did mention small pistol primers being in short supply, but also just having gotten some Federal stuff in.

I was having trouble finding small pistol primers so when I found them I bought six cases. I'm not waiting till stuff starts getting hard to find again. I'll just get more stuff as the spare cash will let me.

Lebaron's Markham was out of Large Rifle primers on Friday but again, their stock is hit and miss. They just got some Hornady bullets in and Noslers and Barnes X seemed to be in stock. They also had IMR4350. So far so good I think.

The biggest impact has been ordering stuff from US stores. Natchez has had an order for me for a quite a while. They finally processed it but said it would take 7-10 business days after that to ship. I guess the demand down there is nuts.

Wholesale in Edmonton will still sell you bricks of primers, but they are charging you by the hundred in order to rape you out of more money. The girl actually opened the case and scanned the individual packets.

This has been the case with the southside store since they opened, and has nothing to do with any supply and probably is not even because of a desire to screw you. It's simply a bad SKU code that they are too disorganized to fix. The more experienced cashiers know the problem and will look the SKU up manually to get you the carton price without your even asking.

Just 6000, everyone I talked to call 1000 a case. Is that the wrong term?
100 is a box.
1000 is a carton.
5000 is a case.

I love how people say the Americans stock pile, yet look at the responses on here and people dont equate their purchases as stock piling.
