What's your favorite buttstock for an AR carbine?

1. Colt fiberlite with a rubber band.
2. CTR.

For Recce/SPR/SR25 types I'll opt for one of the heavier options with a better cheekweld.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who prefers the old CAR stock. Getting hard to find these days. What's the rubber band for? Extra tension to keep the latch closed?

I'm all about keeping things as light and simple as possible these days.

Yeah for extra tension and for stowage of chemlites or a TQ.

I've got a ACS and its great, I noticed its a little longer than some other stocks, I like being up close to the trigger. It feels like the same length of pull as 1 position out on a standard A2 style stock.
Also, picked up a Ergo Ti7 stock. It feels to be made with better quality materials than the magpul.
I got fde, but its not the same shade fde as magpul. It fits the buffer tube snugger than the magpul acs even with the lock on.
Ill be picking up a str eventually in fde, that's what I wanted but they were sold out of fde ones, and ill get plastic dye and make my ergo black.

...I didn't read all the posts but am I the only one who still uses the standard Colt's reinforced 1N CAR-15 stock??? it's light, fits well with a plate carrier and slim.
