I took mine apart. it does not have cosmoline it it. Looks to be heavy oil. Cosmo is more like a grease. It wiped clean easuily with a paper towel.
Ran a patch through the barrel. It is bright and shiny, but it has been fired. there is a slight copper color in the rifling. I have no doubt the inspection process included a full mag of shooting. It was cleaned after that, but not perfectly cleaned.
I noticed one difference between this Tok and some others. It is easy to #### it by racking the slide. The others are difficult to rack unless it is cocked first. If it is on half-####, the slide is locked.
Trigger is about the best out-of -the-box milsurp pistol I have ever tried. I look forward to shooting it for function and accuracy.
