Got my new 22/45 with the threaded barrel the other day and took it out for a spin today. First impression is the trigger sucks
. I don't have a trigger scale but I would guess it's about 6lbs plus it has about 6" of creep before it stiffens up for the break (gross exageration but you get the idea). The reset is very short so that is good. Because of the trigger I didn't get the best groups with it but when I used a sand bag rest and moved the target to 7yds I shot 15 rnds into a hole you could cover with a dime so the potential is there. Freehand though I could only get maybe 6" groups at 15yds. I'm no ace shot but with my M17 I can usually shoot 2-3" groups.
On the plus side I put probably 300rnds of Win M-4 ammo through it wih no malfunctions at all.
People on other sites suggested I get a Volquartsen drop in trigger group and it looks like it may be a wise investment. I may wait until I have a couple thousand rnds through it first though as it may improve with time. TC
