I'm looking really hard at the Luxus 11, 90% certain I'm going to order one soon.
I'm having a hard time deciding on which chamberings to choose for a 2 barrel set.
Classic cartridges are what appeal to me, but there are so many good choices it's driving me a little batty!
7x57 and 9.3x62 are the two that jump out at me, but I already have two of each that I'm not likely to sell, still, I'm leaning that way.
When you start pairing them up, there are a lot of good possibilities.
They are some of the most common out there, but the individual cartridges that I'm serious about are:
.22 Hornet (the least favored of the bunch); .250 Savage; .257 Roberts; 6.5x55; 7x57; .30/06; 8x57; 9.3x62
I would probably stay away from .375 H&H in a 6.75-7 lb rifle, and I already have a 1-S .375 Ruger ( mind you I also have a 1-A 7x57).
Thoughts?
What would your choices be?
