.45 love? suggestions for a new .45 to buy?

those new ruger 1911 compacts look sweet, i think murdoc has them. SIg 1911 C3 carry is sweet, as well are the kimber 1911 pro carryII.

As you can see i am partial to the smaller ones.

I think you mean P220. The P226 isn't made in .45 cal.

ah yes the 220 of course. i'm packing a beretta px4 storm for a 9, pretty happy with that. i'm leaning towards the sig 220 or 1911. thanks for the suggestions!

The S&W M&P would be my choice for a non-1911 .45.

If a 1911, what is your budget? Do you want a GI-style gun, something with more modern features, or something in between? My picks would be:

-Project gun: Norinco GI model
-Budget, with more bells and whistles: Ruger
-Higher end production: Colt or Dan Wesson

Remington r1s, s for stainless, 1- the is beautiful, 2- the trigger action is so smooth, just incredible, 3- i have the r1 enhanced, shoots flawless

Between my Sig Scorpion, S&W 1911 anny, G21 Gen 4 and SIG 220 my favorite is the 686 (357 mag Revolver).

All the 45ACP shoots great (not my hands but others at the range have proven all good). Only true test is to fondle and shoot one.
