I wouldn't say they are junk, they can be very accurate. Just no aftermarket stocks available. Put a rifle basix trigger in and you have a cheap accurate gun.Axis is junk .200 is better
Stevens. Budget version of a regular Savage with interchangeable parts/stocks/barrels.
the trigger on the axis is the main drawback if your planning any sort of build down the road.......you can tweak it but it will never compare to the likes of a drop in timney or rifle basix...............
you can get a rifle basix drop in trigger, also an accu trigger can be fitted into the axis.
The Stevens 200 is the ugliest rifle of all time, but it shoots straight...your call.
