My Rifle Shoots 1/2 MOA at 300 yards/meters All Day! Really? Prove It!

Who makes the cheek rest that you have?

That is correct.
There is an aluminum block that sits in a milled hole in the top of the but stock. The saddle cheek piece has a rectangular post that it slides up or down in the aluminum block. The side screws hold it in place. It's very solid although if I were to buy another McMillian stock I'd probably spend the $ on the one with the built it adjustable cheek piece.

I was reminded today of why I don't shoot much past 100M. First, the trail past 100M gets pretty narrow..and by the time I put up the target and take it down, I feel like a tightrope walker who has just been out on the rope for a mile. Then, I discovered that the flags I put up could not be seen in the scope picture with the target so that was a waste of time. Once I started shooting, my 18X scope could not pick up indidviual holes until the group started to develop so with each group, I had no idea if I was wasting time until I went to pick up the target.....and sighting at 300M takes me a lot longer than at a hundred. And, with the little breeze there was, it was darned hard on my eyes. Oh well, all is well that ends well.

JEC nice shooting and nice rifle.

Where did yo get the stock?

Thanks
Bought it from Jefferson who got it from ... a buddy who got it direct from Paul Reibin (in BC). I passed up the sister stock with a Barnard S block about six months ago..Jefferson had that one as well, not sure if he sold it?

Took along what I will call " RIFLE # 1 " as that is how I referred to it when I shot it in the 1/2" @ 100yd.- challenge.
