You get three guns...

In some ways choosing one is easier than three, but a look in the gun room provides some possibilities.

SAKO .222 Magnum
ZG-47 .30/06
M-70 .458

or

Unique "T" Dioptra .22 LR
Remington M-7 .243
Brno 602 .375 Ultra

or

Cooey 64 .22 LR
Winchester M-54 .270
Husqvarna 98 Mauser 9.3X62

I am surpised nobody from Ontario has chosen:

Remington 742 in .308 for deer drives
Remington 760 in .308 for deer drives in slightly more open country
Remington 742 in .308 in case the first one jams.

:)

Remington 870 Marine Magnum in 12 guage with extra 23" rifled barrel (1-4x20 scope)
Savage MKII BTVSS in .22LR (3-9x40 scope)
Custom Mauser 98 lightweight sporter in 7x57 (2.5x scope)

This would take care of all my needs.

Since this is a hunting scenario, I'd need a shotgun (not many people have said they'd keep a shotgun), and my "dream hunts" involve handgun hunting,so...(and guns I already have or have access to))

-Rem 7600 in 30.06, Elite 3200 3-9x40
-Rem Wingmaster 12g.
-Ruger NM Blackhawk in 41 rem mag.

I rescind my previous post. On second thought, I know I could actually do all my hunting with just ONE good gun.
My Krieghoff Trumpf drilling in 16 x 16 / 7x57R with Krieghoff semper .22 WMR insert barrel and quick detach ( claw mount ) 3-9 Kahles scope and pop up iron sights. The 16 is choked IC / IM, ( 1/4 -3/4) the insert barrel installs in seconds and returns to zero every time, and the rifle can be shot with irons or QD scope that also returns to zero every time. Rifle barrel can be fired with a set trigger for added precision. Not much this rig can't do.

That isn't one gun according to the rules of the thread... it is three guns.

With different loads, I could get by with only my Savage 24V in 30-30/20 gauge. Powder puff 100 grain loads for small game, 170 grain FP's for anything up to moose, and the 20 for anything that flies. Anything within 100 yards dies.

But I think I would die without my 870 wingmaster or my X-bolt in 270 wsm, so that'd be my 3.

you're just jealous!

Yep... because for this thread, I wasn't allowed to pick one of my Ultra Handi frames with 12 centerfire barrels, three Versa Pack rimfire barrels and two shotgun barrels and call them all ONE gun... I would if I could...
