US AR15 buying frenzy losing steam?

Been south for two weeks and trust me that no ammo or product is available, the caveat being inventory at highly inflated pricing!!!

This will only get worse with Finestein at the helm leading the charge...
The left down there is just waiting for another high profile shooting and they will then be going for broke at that point.
How many years of Obama do we have left?
How many more years are the Democrats going to be in power even after Obama?
A divided Republican party that quite frankly does little for the 2A even when in power..

Truth is there are large numbers of people in the US that don't care about the 2A and most of them vote Democrat and the Republicans if anything are moving to the left always.

How many Rihnos and flip floppers are there in the Republican party again?
Just look at Romney's past of the 2A..
 
I walk into Gander mountain in New York State (upstate) just to check out deals on other things. I note what they DO have. I can say, being there last week, last month, there was a near clean out! There was almost complete cleanout after Sandy hook, and i mean The Ar15 on the wall is now gone ($1800) but was there a month ago. Ammo is gone, some of it was there a month ago, and they had crates of .223 prior (not sure, think it was Federal 400 rd box??) Not a single .223 round! no .22 ammo! this is all in one month. Not too sure where people- law abiding including the Sheriff that buy there- will get their firearms, ammo and accessories. I would be willing to bet, there is a shortage up here, no question about it. How long? guess years.
