A proper headshot

I see you're still upset cause you had to be taught simple ballistics and bullet construction a while back...

That's ok Sunshine.. you keep trying there little buddy, ;)

Ya... I am upset with my good trader rating and the fact i didjt have to go into hiding for a few months because i am a rip off artist (see trader ratings)..... What i shoot dies quick and is done as evidenced by a full freezer.... I dont feel the need to post ugly vids on youtube as if they are what hunting is about.... Or even argue about how great a 30-30 is while shooting a 270 wsm.... Go figure

atta boy sunshine, run along now, the adults are talking...:)

I don't see anything unethical in the headshot video. In fact, they talk about how to make the shot straight on, and not blowing off the jaw. I've shot a few animals in the head and have never wounded one. I still prefer the boiler room shot if I can get it. When you're still hunting and you spot a cow watching you at 20 metres and all you can see is part of her face watching you, it's pretty difficult to manoever into a better position. Some times you have to play the cards you're dealt. I think that video demonstrates the most humane and respectful death an animal can have. It's real life, not candy cane land.

Interesting comments on your trader rating! Bwahahahahahahaha!

Haha! No doubt!

Some guys just don't even have enough sense to be embarrassed about stuff like that. A trader rating like that, should have a guy hanging his cyber head in shame, not running around telling stupid stories and talking down to guys who disagree with him...

a nice head shot is often quick death,..sometimes it's a mess and not.
a nice bolier room shot is often a quick death,...sometimes a mess and not.

If you have the ability and the opportunity presents itself,... why not.

I believe it all comes down to personal skill. You know if you can or can't.

Only an un-confident shot would protest the world.

As hunters we should be ambassadors to the sport and help it grow (not that I would consider the OP's video to be hunting....)

The kill and the gore are things that should be kept to a mentor protege relationship and not blasted all over the interwebs so that those who are twisted enough to think that is what hunting is about can make their comments... like troll guy up above me here....

We should be advertising for the sport and using the adventure and the fresh air and camraderie as selling points and dealing with the ugliness of the kill in the field where it belongs... Do we have to hide it? no.... Should we advertise it? Also no....

We all know steak comes from cattle but how many new customers would the Keg get if they showed the slaughterhouse floor instead of a nicely seasoned sizzling steak on a grill in their commercials?....

Totally agree with you Superbrad! This is far from being hunting, it is hideous, grotesque and a disgrace to outdoorsmen and society. Killing and culling is not hunting...............people should look up the definition of hunting from dictionaries and Wildlife Acts to find it's meaning. This is most insulting to those's who truly persue the act of hunting. Lot's of shallow and deviant people out there.

Hope none of you guys are Turkey hunters...where to goal is to cut off completely...or BLOW OFF their heads...

OH THE HUMANITY!!!
