10 mm auto

Dan Wesson. It would be well worth it if you can find one.

Yep

Junk isn't restricted to the Chinese, anymore. We've all heard recent stories of lack of QC with S&W, Para, Ruger, Kimber, etc.
If I were to buy a handgun, online(sight unseen), it would be a Norinco. Chances of getting a good one are much better, than with American made ones.
Too bad they don't make one in a 10mm, yet.

Or buy a Croatian made Springfield Armoury XD. The Croatian police all use them apparently. I like mine. Then again, I like my Norinco too. :)

Sure Norc's have strong slides/frames but that about it...small parts break and they are very roughly finished and they usually require some TLC if you do not want cut fingers, 20# trigger pulls and don't get me started on trying to fit after market parts in. Para is junk...Kimbers are wayyy over priced.

The rest of the guys you listed tho...besides the fact that everyone makes a lemon once in a while please tell me how often people are having issues where buying sight unseen is a real risk? Ruger sold over a million guns in 2012...good luck doing that with QC issues.

More internet rumour friend of a friends gun BS...

Years ago, I owned a Parker in 10mm. Made by Wyoming Arms. It was a fun gun. I didn't have it long, it was stolen during a break-in at my home in '97 Four short guns were taken, two were recovered, my AMT Longslide which was returned to me and my 629 Classic Hunter with a 10 1/2" bbl which was not yet returned to me.

Well it's a done deal, I'm the proud new owner of a Colt Delta Elite in 10 mm, I have always liked and trusted Colt 1911 pistols so I'm sure I'll be pleased with this new addition.......after all the paper work of course. Got it off EE for what I consider to be a reasonable price.......imagine a reasonable price on EE. Anyway when I get my sweaty big mitts on it I will give it a true run through and let everyone know what I find.

dont forget the pics.......U get the blued or SS model?

Nice 1026! I'd love to have one for my collection...

The 10mm is a great cartridge! From the current offerings out there, I'd say the Glock 20 & 29 are the easiest to find. I really like my EAA Witness in 10mm too. STI makes good 1911 10mms. If you can get your hands on a Dan Wesson, I highly recommend. My Colt Delta Elite in SS is nice, but the Dan Wesson is great! There are S&W 10mm uatos to be found out there, and I love them. I have the 1006, 1076, and 1086 in the collection and they are all TANKS! If you get into the 10mm, definitely get into reloading.

The VLTOR copy of the Bren Ten is on the back burner... indefinitely.

10mm pics to share:

Really old pic... Still have all but one in the pic:
