I just got my Cynergy and have not had it long enough to give it a serious work out, I have only shot one flat through it. However, comparing a semi to an O/U is like apples and oranges. The 391 had very little recoil while the 400 with kickoff had even less. Both the 391 and 400 can be shot all day without any fatigue at all. I did have some occasional hang ups of the shells getting caught against the feed ramp and not wanting to load, this was only after I cleaned the guns and was not common. Oddly, both Berettas performed better when they were dirty rather than clean. The Cynergy, has a bit less recoil compared to other O/U due to the thick butt pad and the trigger reset time is very quick/crisp break. Obviously a quicker reset time for an O/U compared to a semi. The Beretta actions were both very smooth out of the box while the Cynergy hinge was a bit stiff. Not my first Browning and it will break in over time. Both guns balanced/point very well. I will put more cases through the Cynergy, I do like it but time will tell if I prefer the new gun over the old or the other way around. These are just my experiences so far, others may vary.
