I acquired a Stevens 77E that I don't have a whole lot of use for as it sits. It has a 30 inch barrel and fixed full choke. The gun is solid but clear sign of use; bluing rubbing off, peeling on the stock, some dents in the wood. Nothing major, just a shotgun that has had a lot of use and carry. I've toyed with the idea of cutting down the barrel and possibly changing the stock if possible, or doing a restoration on it. Reblue the metal, strip and refinish the stock...
