great guns do not need accessories. They shoot great out of the box.They do not need hundreds of dollar upgrades to make them shoot. Marlin or savage are the most accurate for thier money.

for a cheap semi other then 10/22 I'd go with a tube fed Marlin

I'm going to voice along with the fellas that are saying to also check out used rifles.
They've been made when quality control ment something...
A cooey in VG condition is pretty hard to beat.
I'm partial to a Stevens 87C myself .
