I have owned this Mossberg night train 2 for over a year now and is my first real attempt at longer range accuracy shooting. with this in mind I was having a hard time trying to sight rifle in to even hit the bullet stop at 50 yards yet alone the target itself. But after hundreds of rounds and loctite every bolt I could find on the rifle ( lots were coming loose and throwing off any progress I may have made ) I'm finally hitting the target. But now at 50 yards I was getting a 2 inch grouping, with first shot hitting close to where I was aiming the the rest start going further and further off target in a semi circle pattern. The next five rounds would do the same but the grouping would go from 2 inch to a 3 1/2 inch grouping. This continues as the rifle gets warm. After letting it cool would go back to a 2 inch grouping and continue to widen up. I got a pal to shoot rifle and exact same stuff was happening to him. Its a 308 riffle and I was using norinco bulk ammo and I was shooting from a solid set if bags. Next time I head out ill take some pictures of the groupings to give a better picture of what is happening. Any info you guys could give me on what the heck my rifle is doing I would greatly apreciate it.
