So me and my buddy decided to buy a crate of 1600 rounds of surplus 5.56 and take my Tavor out for the day and see what we could do to the rifle. Needless to say, we shot 1600 rounds in a single day with ZERO malfunctions of any sort, apart from two that were user error. One being jamming 6 rounds into a 5 round mag by accident causing it to FTF, and two having the ejection port covered by a shooting bag when benching. I cannot believe how impressed I was with the rifle, we had this thing so hot, it melted the case that it was beside, it was an inch or so away, it wasn't even touching it. Even with the barrel piping hot, it was not uncomfortable to shoot, just very warm. The only gripe I have with the rifle is how dirty the long-stroke piston design gets. You seem to get a lot of blowback residue inside the receiver. I have some video footage but I'll have to wait until I have time to upload it to youtube. Anyone else every shot the heck out of these and how did they fair? Very impressed.
