Canadian Manufactured AR's Wartac

Not affiliated in any way lol I am just patriotic and if the background story is true on these guys then they deserve it. It was by accident I had seen the invoice, it was because I had asked what colours and the guy pulled out the invoice in front of me to check the colour one guy already put down for and the price and I had seen it. I ordered mine already because I am in the market for an AR and to have it dipped in Multicam. I was emailing back and fourth with the shop all day and they gave me a quote I could not turn down so I jumped on it.

Like anything you would like to know more about people and seeing as CGN has a wealth of individuals who either know a lot or have a lot who act like they do, I figured it would be worth a shot and provided info that I got out of the gun shop guy.

Sounds promising. Please post some pics and a review once you get it. Which shop did you order from and what kind of time-frame are you expecting?

I can assure you mr snakeyes isn't assoc with the company.

He texted me the other day about this, and I've known and worked with him for years.

Right about now he is figuring out who I am, and giggling that I figured him out.

Good to see more canadian stuff on the market.

What does working for the phone company have to do with guns?

Not hard to figure who it is buds.

I will post pics and a review for sure. I was told the time frame is end of June.

Jesus christ brotha you're quick to dismiss it without knowing didly squat about them, but I guess that's the CGN way too.

No. But Im not jumping on board either. Already was all for another one of these start ups. It didn't pan out and when I stopped being a fan the infractions started. Not again thank you.

I too would like to know where you ordered from! I am looking to buy my first AR, and would love to get it already done in OD...

I don't mind being a guinea pig for a new Canadian company, and would happily post reviews, etc.....

I got mine from Island Outfitters in Victoria BC. Thats where I am at for the time being, never bothered to update my location on here.

If you contact them ask for Josh. He seems to be the guy that is spearheading it all for their store. They have 10 coming into their store by end of June plus the custom ones.

They should be able to contact the maufacturer and find locations selling them in your province. Good luck.

Infractions??!! LOL

I have now found the center of the interweb.

Hey Blaxsun and Satain what do you guys think? Oh right ...

I don't make a purchase decision lightly. I sure don't jump onto the bandwagon without knowing the full specs of the product and I prefer seeing some user feedback on it. The type that's in detail and lists plus/minus. Right now it's great to see another product and I look forward to reading more about it. At this point however we know little to nothing about them.

If you disagree then so be it. I hear King optics another Canadian company definately wants your business. Come on don't be so judgemental.. Go ahead buy one!! Let us know how great it is. I look forward to your review BenL.

The way this forum crucifies business types around here, they would be smart to not show up.

It is a double edged sword. If you're high quality with a high price you will get flak about the price but gain a FerrarI like fan base. If you're selling cheap mediocre stuff well it will get some slagging but let's be honest the Norc is still considered a best buy and great starter AR even by those who own expensive AR rifles.

Where businesses run into problems is when they try to represent their product as something it isn't. Or try to hide/justify things that aren't up to the claims. Then yes you will get burned bad. Shilling will only make it worse. See King optics threads. If that's the company line then yup it's far better for them not to interect with their customer base. Like any Con artist you don't want to be challenged on the inacurate claims. You sure don't want to face those upset Marks err customers. Most know to get out of town rather than face an angry town mob.

Be honest and a company cam gain a lot of customers on here. The majority of tar and feathering is when something is billed as something it in reality isn't.

Or as one of my coworkers likes to say "Dont put icing on a piece o ####e and tell me it's a cupcake, when Ive already seen the ingredient list"!

Hopefully this new one is decent. Looks to be competing with NEA. Plain billet lower ie not ambi but has common billet features of flared magwell and enhanced trigger guard. Free float handguard with QR points at front. Wondering what the alluminum ratings, internals etc are. I too was thinking DLask off shoot company when I saw it.

I emailed Island Outfitters about ordering one. They basically said they expected them to be in end of June, and they would be stocking them regularly. They also mentioned that OD green (what I want) would be one of the colour variations that you could get stock ( no custom order needed ). Other custom colours could be ordered specially however.

Guess I will have to wait awhile! Still, I really like the look and design and plan on getting one when I can. Will definitely provide CGN with my thoughts, pics, etc once I actually get my hands on one ... Willing to take the chance on a new company, and hopefully help out some other CGN'ers at the same time.

Glad it worked out.

So you ordered one without knowing anything about them? Your first post just seems odd as it sounded as though you knew nothing about them yet you bought an AR already... is there any info on them anywhere that you can link too? How can someone be manufacturing an AR in Canada and there be zero info on them?

Did you ever receive your AR? Its been 3 yrs... I only ask as it would be nice to have another reliable canadian made AR.
