Where to find powder

Might help if you posted where you are from....I know of a couple shops in Alberta and BC that are pretty flush with powder but that's not much help if you aren't from around here.

Good advic e sheephunter, but where are you from, BC or Alta?
Just teasing yah , but it is a valid point as is having more than one recipe for your favorite gun/caliber.

Well, Sheephunter was right - i did NOT have my location previously, and had to 'disappear' for a week due to family dealings - i put my location when I got back - dont know why I didnt have it there, but regardless, its there now...
Anyhow, thanks for the replies - i have a couple pet loads too, however the issue is getting powder for either loads. I travelled last week from Wpg to Regina, stopped at a few places in between and nada once again.
Will keep looking, and I am not concerned about distance as long as they will ship to me.

I had a big wish list of powders I wanted. Everyone seems to have 1 or 2 on my list. It would cost a fortune for dangerous goods shipping by ordering from multiple places. Whenever I'm out of town I check the local gun shops. Last couple places I got a few cans was Rough Country Sports in Swan River, and Arnie's Guns & Archery in Prince Albert. Last online order was Budget Shooter supply. Whittled it down, still need some more.
namely...
H414
IMR 4198 and or H4198
H335
H4350 and or IMR 4350
RELODER 15

Try L and M Sporting in The Pas. Last time I was there I saw some Varget and 3031 in the back shelves. If they have some yet let me know and I'm sure we can find a way to get it to you.

The trouble with getting the powder from the smaller sporting goods stores is they want around $10 more per pound then ordering it online. If you order it online they don't have a big enough selection in stock right now. If you wait some new stock comes in but then they're sold out of some other one's in the meantime.

That's the trouble with reloading for so many different things.

I'm in BC
I have yet to find anyone with any H110.
I'd buy it in any quantity because as of this Monday my gun will turn into a safe dweller...
If anyone knows where's a stash please PM me.

well thanks for telling everyone there was powder to be found in Alberta, them out of province buyers must of came in like locust and cleaned them out...... :(

I was in WSS, Cabela's and P&D and all I found on my list was IMR4227

Lots of primers to be had if your looking, I topped up on my stock.

I need IMR4895 and IMR4350

and If I find H380 or IMR4831 I'm buying

Oh and I think that the location field in your profile should be mandatory, province being the minimum

Hey Choppa', users have been saying it should be mandatory for a while, especially in the EE. It sure would make things a lot easier when trying to figger out shipping charges etc.

I think leaving out your location is almost as bad as not including a pic in an ad in the EE.

I think location is more important for EE purposes, although pics sure help. Pics even help eliminate shady sellers.

I hate ......email for pics.

Wait, are you seriously trying to sell something? If you are at least you can go through the "pain" of learning how to post pics.

Whenever I see an EE ad without pics it just plain sounds like a Nigerian phone scam to me. That's just me though.

Haha I agree blackwater, I once had a fellow send me pics that I had seen on gunbroker. Lets just say the deal was off, lol
