The grip screws are the same threads as any north american grip screw, but the bushing to frame threads are different. The grips I put on mine fit just fine with the stock grip screws so no bushing change was needed. You CAN re-thread the frame for north american bushings with a kit apparently. But I didnt need to with the grips I used.
I picked up 3 of the Dlask 8 rounds mags with the plastic pad on the bottom. They were $25 each and fit perfect with the extended mag well in my grip. They fit perfect and lock the slide back tight. Not sure about how they feed, havent been out with them yet but they have great reviews so im not worried about that.
The 1000 rounds of ammo is large pistol primed, brass case and is reloadable.
When I cleaned my gun, I did a basic strip down (didnt take the frame/trigger/safety components out). Soaked it in a simple green/water mixture, then sprayed everything down with brake clean. Then I lubed it all with gun scrubber and it looks and feels excellent. Definitely not nearly as smooth as a high end 1911... I have a buddy with a $1500 1911... his is definitely nicer. But when you consider that I could have bought 3000 rounds and 3 1911's for the same money... and when we shoot we shoot nearly identical accuracy wise, im not sure his fancy 1911 is anything more than bragging rights. Im sure most 1911 die hards will think that last comment is akin to treason. But if you want a gun to shoot, this ones fine. If you want one to stare at and fondle, get a fancy one.
