Went to the range this evening, and my GSG .22lr seized up after a few rounds. There are only about 1000 rds through it in total, with the first 500 being exclusively Stingers. I broke it down at the range, and a few more experienced shooters looked at it for me. Behind the spring on the guide rod, is a washer and a rubber buffer? disk..... this disk is squished out of shape and flattened/enlarged, so that the slide will not move past it. If i remove the rubber disk, gun functions fine..... but I'm guessing its there for a reason. Anyone have any ideas? How do I fix this? Firearm has functioned flawlessly to this point and I'm otherwise completely happy with it so far. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!
