I just picked up and opened a can of Norinco .223. Each round is stamped with C J 95. I'm wondering, what does that mean? Moreover, I googled some pictures of other Norinco .223 rounds and notice they were stamped with C J 92. What is with the inconsistency?
BTW is the brass from these rounds worth saving up for reloading? If not, what can I do with them?

Glocked is correct about the cj and usually a double digit is the year of manufacture....though I just checked a 223 case that has only a single digit "8"...so possible '08? Not sure, but the C J is certainly Norinco

Back in the early 90's I used to pick up everyone's Norc 9mm brass and reload it. Most considered it not worth reloading, I got about 11 cycles out of that brass before the necks split. I used to leave the split neck brass, but now with the cost of all metals going up, I save even the junk brass and take it to the recyclers for cash to buy lead!

Reload it and when your done, take it to the recyclers and use the cash to offset the cost of buying fresh ammo :)
