If everyone who's complained took the time to read prior posts regarding processing times you'll see that it takes them an eternity to process orders.
If you're willing to accept that (based on knowing this fact after researching it) then you order, with that knowledge and really don't have a right to complain (even though your complaints are valid).
If you order without doing some research, then you really should have done some research and that's your problem, not theirs.

I've read all the posts. I've been following this thread post by post since it was started. Wish I would have been able to order on the 23 not 25. Oh well, such as life. As I understood it then, yes a delay was going be expected. I was expecting 2-3 weeks before shipment. I've been shooting the gsg 1911 here the last little while and would just like to move up to something with a little more bang.:ar15: For those who have received it, more pics posted sure would be appreciated.

You kinda of have to wonder what the hell is going on there for that statement. I'm all for waiting a bit for a deal, but i'm failing to see what takes so long? Last restricted at a store, within 5 minutes of purchasing, I have a transfer number and i'm out the door. Last website purchase, three days from order, I have a transfer number. I'm going on 30 days from date of order and still no transfer. A phone call and email later and i'm still being told, "oh, by the end of the week". They must have a database of what's sitting in the warehouse for guns. I mean they all have serial numbers on them and i'm sure lots of paper work is needed for import from china. I would like to know what is the dis-connect from receiving a order being dumped into a queue from your website, matching up a serial number and frt from your database and sending it off to the CFO? Reading past posts they seemed to be doing this by hand. Wow, Does the CFO charge a large amount of money to be able to send it electronically? I know they are busy with the influx of orders, and they still have a life, but when stuff like this happens, you need to pull up the boot straps and clear it up any any means. No one said working for your self is easy, other wise we all would be doing it. Your running a business , you have to be ready for what may come your way. Please don't hate me for saying what a lot of guys who ordered this and are in the same boat as I are thinking. And no, i'm not cancelling, like many of you who ordered, its a great deal and dealing with Canam is from what I hear a great thing, But 30 days with full payment completed after the first five and nothing up to this point?

The brown noses are going to hate you :( But I totally agree

Not a fan of the finish on the last pictures . It looks like it was dipped in royal blue ink .
Not a problem though as when I mine eventually gets here (hopefully before the snow gets here )that will be the first ting to go .

Some of us could have ordered on the 22nd (OP was posted 22nd, 9:32pm) but what is the RUSH? :)

Seriously don't you have another 1911 to play with; or a myriad of other toys. You said you piece, time to relax and get a nice surprise when it arrive, your blood pressure will thank you.

Flew over the Rockies 4 times today Calgary to Victoria and back twice ad then a quick one into Van, had a nice meal at the flying beaver grill . Must have flown over Canam at some point,.Beautifull province and nice people. One more day and home to Nova Scotia to see my 1911 and play with it a bit, .prince George tomorrow!
Cheers

Took mine out for the first time today. Shot beautifully, no FTF no FTE for the 100 rounds I shot. By the 2nd mag I was hitting a 6" Shoot N C target at 25 yards holding at the six o'clock position. First time with a 45, the recoil was softer than I thought. My GSG 1911 .22 I shot after felt like nothing at all. It was kinda boring after the big boomer.

Thanks Canada Ammo for getting me hooked on the hard stuff. Was that your plan all along, reel them in with a cheap first taste then get them hooked on buying cases and cases of ammo?
Trigger was nice on mine, or more likely I just don't know any better. The plastic grips were predictably horrible and were slippery as as hell. I'm replacing them when the boat from Thailand arrives. After shooting I noticed the end of the slide was covered with carbon way more than I ever saw on my 9mm, but it wiped of easy. Oh and watch out behind you, mine ejects shells quite far, I found a bunch by my car at least 12 -15 feet behind me at the range.

Good luck guys, don't worry, it's worth the wait.

Which sizing type do you choose so that it would fit a full size 1911 pistol?
I've heard that if you're not careful, you'll get ones that aren't made to fit correctly.

the 1911 standard profile!! I already ordered some white on black punisher grips for the first combo deal,, lol I ordered from Canada ammo!! I got them a few days ago they are the right size for a standard full size 1911 ,, the fit fine on my GSG 1911 also ,,chose the the 1911 standard profile!! type they got some nice grips,,,,you can just tell from a picture on the site when is says 1911 standard profile like this onehttp://stingerpaintballdesigns.com/1911_Pistol_and_Paintball_Marker_SPD_Custom_Grips_The_Punisher_Black.htm

You should check out review before ordering. Maybe if you like them still. I don't find them that bad

hey thanks for the heads up!!! but l do like them,,, they are actually pretty nice and original I think!!! I already bought another pair(white on black punisher skull) they are quite nice, I like them better than just typical wooden grips!!! I ordered 2 1911 combos from Canada ammo LOL ,, so the one gun im putting these http://stingerpaintballdesigns.com/...arker_SPD_Custom_Grips_The_Punisher_Black.htm
and the other gun; I think im going to switch my wood checkered grips from my 1911 GSG ,, ITS JUST A .22 after all ,,,,but I got to say they are very nice and high quality!!! I think they will be fine

ordered may 1st.

"We have initiated a transfer to you through the CFC and are awaiting approval before shipping the product to you."

If I call ontario CFC, do I give them the serial number CanAm gave me? The email says there is no reference number because of the bulk transfers given to the CFC from CanAm
