Have never seen NORC small primer 45s.

Blaser?, Fed NT, Win NT are the only small primer 45s I've seen. And all reloads nicely, shoots nicely. Just don't accidentally force a larger primer into a small primer brass. Nice thing about the HDY LNL press, only action in up/push stroke is setting primer so easy to feel large primer on small primer hole.

Absolutely no reason at all why I chose the McCormick mags over the Wilson. In fact, I may order some Wilsons next. (OK, the Chips were on sale! LOL!)

Never had an issue ordering any parts or accessories from Brownell's in more than 20 years...

Just got mine! Fit and finish is excellent, I may need a second one... I have to be honest the lack of norinco marking is a bonus hahaha! Now were to find some nice grips... Hmmmm.. Thanks canadaammo!
 
Dang, I knew it would be a wait, but this is torture, seeing everyone unbox their guns.

The race is still on between thailand postal and canpar

I think at this point thailand post is in the lead, it's been a week in international transit and I should likely expect it to arrive this week by the end of the week or mid next week.
Must find the strength to wait longer!

Ouch...hopefully that's out of the norm. I've bought at least seven guns online, both restricted and non, from many of the sponsored dealers here...and so far haven't had a bad experience.

As a note for this thread, I ordered on April 26, payment was taken May 5, Transfer initiated May 21, and I got a call from the firearms people on the 25th asking some questions before they advanced the transfer. I imagine I got red flagged because I reported a change of address to the CFO after I ordered the gun from CanadaAmmo but before they started the transfer.
 
I have finally gotten my package. It is so boring: no drama at all. Canpar came over on time. Everything is in apply-pie order. Everything is new and shiny. The grips are undamaged. The guns look perfectly new without a single scratch or rust or whatever could make me unhappy. This is just another perfect/boring transaction. As it should be. Thank you CanadaAmmo! You, guys, are the Best!
P.S. I found a reason to whine!!!!Hoorey! I didn't find a new issue of Caliber and a pen!:)

Well I'm happy. My order was placed on the 23 APR, I received my ATT on the 20 MAY and got the pistol on the 23 MAY at CanPar after I missed delivery on the 22nd.

I was warned processing was slow because of the mass of orders, and at this price I believe them. Still one month, with all the paper work seems satisfactorily quick to me.

Tanks Canada Ammo I love the pistol.
 
Just got my shipping notice a few minutes ago! Hopefully I'll have it by the weekend.
Transfer was initiated on the 21st for those that are wondering.
Looks like CanAm is going to win the race between my gun/ammo and my grips from Thailand.
 
I posted around 11AM this morning saying I was happy to see ordering dates into May starting to get processed. Lo and behold, later today I got my first email indicating some action on my first order. I guess I'll have to send more $$$ to cover my second order now and wait on the Ontario CFO.

I hate to be a bearer of bad news but I was at my local dealer, he was saying the CFO in bc is 6 weeks behind on transfers. I guess it is so bad the CFO in sask is trying to help out. The dealer has a pistol sitting on the shelf for 4 weeks and hasn't got approval to ship to a customer in bc. I just wanted to maybe alleviate the anxiety of when you will get your email. Cheers

My second order was placed on the 30th of April. I just received the "CFO" notification email on Friday. SK transfers usually measure in days, I would expect that the massive tranny email will take longer to process.....

Incidentally I originally ordered 9:00 am on April 23rd. That order was received 3 weeks later...... So the backlog has slowed things up considerably......
