Yup, looks like CanAm improved on the disconnect btw CC charged and CFO transfer, only three business days.

Maybe they caught up on the workload or perhaps delay the CC charging thanks to the advice offered.

So to all the bullys next time folks make suggestion don't flame them.
Placed the order for my 2nd on the 17th, CC was charged on the 23rd and transfer was submitted today, the 28th.

Thats 11 days from the initial order to the beginning of the transfer process. NOT BAD AT ALL.

Maybe Can-Am knows, via mental telepathy, who the arse holes are and leaves their orders till last on purpose. hehe. My first order took quite a bit longer than this one and after receiving it, it was well worth the wait. This order has been nothing to complain about for sure.

Ordered one!

Hows the quality on these 1911? Any rough/sharp edges??

Seems somewhat dependent, they seem to change a little gun to gun. If you read back some in this tread there are at least a dozen people who talk about how theirs is when it arrived.

Yesterday May 27, received transfer notice for "ONE",, approved on May22,, on April25, I ordered "three" ?? I know they are busy,, but my other two orders?? Just curious,,,,,

Transfer requests on same day will go on same CFO sheet. A while ago I had two revolvers by private sale, one pistol via business. Only had one CFO notice; when reg cert arrive all three printed on one sheet.

Received the pistol + ammo on the 13th. Received the notice in the mail that the transfer was approved on the 15th.
Still waiting for the actual certificate. I don't remember it taking this long before...

Last night I posted (back on page 170) , and I e-mailed Canada Ammo the same information and asked advice on fixing a crack in the RH grip. Today I got home after work and found a reply from Chris arranging to send me a replacement set of rubber grips. This is the second pistol I have bought from CA, and I will recommend them to anybody.

My first was a Norinco M213, and it truly is a POS. But it's the most fun I've ever got from a hundred bucks. I'm making it into a project, and trying to improve the trigger pull - I mean how can I fu a $100 POS?

I think it's interesting that Mr Browning modified his designs and went from the 1903, to the 1911, and then to the P35. Changes and improvemts following on one another. Tokarev modifies the 1911 design and gets a made-by-the mile-and-sawed-off-at-the-ends lump. Genius is rare and needs to be appreciated.

ordered on the 4th -- initiated transfer on the 21st and no word when and if it's shipped

any other dealer doing this would be tar & feathered or racked over the coals but somehow everyone is tolerating this behaviour
Tried to cancel 2 weeks ago but was told NO because it's already in process even thou it wasn't !?!

Here is a interesting idea ; if you can't do the volume that you are currently experiencing you should have limited your website , say 100 at a time and update quantities as you get caught up
Also tell customers there is a month wait when they order and give them a chance to decide if they want to dedicate that much time.
so Canada Ammo - call me or PM me and tell me what's going on
--- and for all those who want to flame me for putting this out here and airing dirty laundry , guess what , I tried calling them and they don't take calls !! GOOD BUSINESS PRACTICE
and as for anonymity ---- so you know who I am , order #3957642

I ordered on April 23rd, got the cert in the mail 7 days ago from the CFC and mine still says waiting on CFC approval when I check...LOL

"Aikinut just trying to shock the procrastinators, lol."

Well. I just don't get it.. I checked the website and it said "out of stock" now, a day later (and yesterday, apparently, only a few minutes later) it's showing "in stock"
Not trying to shock procrastinators. Now I've gotta deal with all this temptation again...

I got mine today. crack in the grip on the right side at the top screw. Other than that it is very nice. No scratches, dings or any other cosmetic damage. Need to take it out and shoot the heck out of it to smoothen it up a bit or need to stone the slide rails.
