That was all super helpful guys. I carry a c8 all dang day, and I was hoping to go with something different and non-restricted. I d consider
an xcr or tavor. Just so damn expensive.
Cz 858? $850 at Wolverine.

When I did the first day of the Service Rifle Clinic, the guy beside me had a Norc M4 and an Elcan Spectre 4x.
His shooting was awesome.
Spring for the Norc. Spend the rest on ammo.
For the cost of some of those NR black rifles, you can get a Norinco M4 for SR and an M700 SPS or Savage boltgun to use for varmint hunting. Both will be better suited to their respective application. Third place at the last match was taken with a Norc M4, they shoot.
I use a Norinco M14. Trust me I look with envy at the AR15 folks. Smaller lighter rifle. Way lighter ammo and mags. For me and the M14, the rifle with scope is around 11 pounds. 200 rounds and 10 mags around 17 pounds. More recoil to recover from. You get the picture.
Guys have shot the match with everything under the sun. There is usually at least one M-14 at every match.
Mini-14's can be made accurate enough:

I assume you mean for CQB?
Yes, that will all work. You can just keep your first rifle and pistol mags in a pocket as you will load those at the start of a stage anyway.
You will need to carry 4 rifle mags and one pistol mag on your person.
